TTPH favourite colours

At Through the Purple Haze this week we are asking you to show us your creations using your favourite colours.

I change my favourite colour to craft with on a daily basis so I thought I would take a look at my markers to give me a clue what to use!  There was an overwhelming winner in blue, I have a million blues!

She is called Steampunk mermaid, I coloured her with my Spectrum Noirs and added some glitter.  My background paper is chronology by papermania.  The dies are Cheery Lynn, I kept it simple but my main image is so gorgeous I don't think I need much else!

Fairy tale/anything goes with Creative Fingers

My digi is called Autumn Nymph isn't she stunning!  I love her sexy pouty pose she was so much fun to colour with my Spectrum Noirs.  My background is Prima, my frame is a magazine freebie, my ribbon die is Memory Box, my sentiment is Papermania and my butterflies are from a dusty old Martha Stewart punch I forgot I had!

It's quite a girlie card which is well out of my comfort zone but I think my gorgeous nymph gives it a bit of an edge, which I like.

Anything Goes with Through the Purple Haze

Our new year of challenges start today at Through the Purple Haze and we are easing you in with an Anything Goes challenge.  We are sponsored by Crafty Sentiments and the DT got some gorgeous digis to play with, heres my card Using Eve and Jason.

My doilie is Papermania my papers are magazine freebies, gems from my stash and my ribbon, fabric stickers and gorgeous chipboard buttons were all from my generous Secret Santa!

Secret Santa Blog Hop for Through the Purple Haze

This Christmas I received an extra special present, all the DT at Through the Purple Haze sent eachother a Secret Santa present.

We are doing a wee blog hop to show off our goodies!  Hopefully you have come here from the lovely Lucy

Here's what I received and I couldn't be more pleased!

Where do I start? Oodles of ribbons in my favourite vintage colours, some Gorjuss girls decoupage, some DCWV rock (squeal!) Die cuts, loads of lovely wee embellishments, some inkpads, some amazing dies for my Bigshot and some gorgeous stickers.  It's all so fab I am over the moon!  My head is buzzing with ideas of what I can make!

I must confess something I received is not in the picture because it didn't last long enough for me to photograph, a lovely selection box!

Like me you have a winter birthday so I jumped at the chance to make you a card with these gorgeous Winter Walk papers which came free with Making Cards magazine.  My embellishments, ribbons and charm are all from my stash and I went a bit over the top with the pearly cosmic shimmer and created a blizzard!

I'd like to thank the girls on the DT for setting up the blog hop, I wouldn't know where to have started!

Creative Fingers Anything Goes with Sassy Studios

Happy New Year!  We have a great challenge to start things off at Creative Fingers, Anything Goes, here's my make

I  used  a box I got perfume in and added Steampunk Josephine from sassy studios, used some ribbon and embellishments from my stash.  It was a bit of a quick make as my wee boy hasn't been too well, hopefully he's on the mend.

Now that 2014 is here I've made sone crafty resolutions.  This year I'm going to go back to one of my first loves scrapbooking and I'm going to spend more time getting inky with my stamps.
